Batista

Watching Raw tonight, and over the past few weeks, I'm realizing how Batistsa is quickly evolving (pun intended) into a great character with many subtleties. Who knew the big lummox had it in him? I hated Batista at first, and just thought he was another "big man" that would go nowhere fast. But he's quickly becoming my favorite character. His turn is nice and slow; tension is teased, but he's still loyal to HHH. When he finally turns, the fans will be totally behind him, unlike Orton. Orton is ok, but was never given the time to develop as a face. Batista is getting really good on the mic, his acting is a lot better, and his facial expressions and body language seem sincere. For the first time in a long time, I care about a wrestling character again...

Raw Ramblings...

I've been watching WWE (WWF) programming since 1998, and I finally decided that it was time to post some of my thoughts on Raw, the superstars, and the WWE in general. Sometimes I'll comment on the show as a whole, sometimes just certain feuds or superstars, or any other ramblings I may have concerning the world of pro wrestling. In general, I do not watch Smackdown, and really haven't since the roster split. Just never got into it, and I've always preferred the live energy of Raw to the pretaped Smackdown. More to come...
